Services
Trailer servicing in Canberra & Queanbeyan
We thoroughly inspect your trailer for any maintenance or repairs and carry out routine maintenance to make sure it is safe and ready to keep working — whoever built it.
Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm, at 36 Stephens Road, Queanbeyan.
There for the life of your trailer
A service catches it before the roadside does
A trailer that sits in the yard most of the year still wears. Wheel bearings dry out, brakes drift out of adjustment, lights stop working and small cracks start where the drawbar meets the chassis. A regular service finds those before they become a breakdown on the highway or a failed rego inspection.
We build trailers from scratch in our Queanbeyan workshop, so we service them knowing how every part is meant to work. And yes — we service trailers we did not build, too.
The service
What we check and service
Wheel bearings
Checked for play and noise, adjusted, and repacked or replaced when they need it.
Brakes
Checked and adjusted so the trailer pulls up straight, with worn parts replaced.
Lights and wiring
Every light, plug and earth tested, and damaged or corroded wiring repaired.
Tyres and wheels
Tread, sidewalls, wheel nuts and the spare all checked.
Coupling and safety chains
The coupling, safety chains, shackles and jockey wheel checked for wear and damage.
Springs, drawbar and chassis
Springs, U-bolts, the drawbar and the chassis checked for cracks, rust and damage.
Why Resort Trailers
Why bring it to a trailer workshop
- Parts on the shelf — we stock a large range in the Queanbeyan workshop and source anything we do not have.
- If the service turns up something broken, we can fix it in the same workshop, from small repairs to custom fabrication.
- We are a licensed provider of NSW and ACT registration safety inspections, so the rego check can be done by the same people.
