Relocation services

Moving trailers, containers and plant around Canberra

If it needs to be towed, lifted or floated from one site to another, talk to us. We have been building and repairing towable equipment in Queanbeyan since 1984, so we know how to load it, restrain it and get it there in one piece.

Tell us what it is and where it has to go — we'll come back with a price and a realistic date.

What we move

One call instead of three

Relocations are usually the awkward part of a job. The container has to come off the truck in a spot the truck cannot reach, the trailer has flat tyres and no rego, the site box has to be gone before the gate is locked at four.

We handle the whole movement — assessing access, sorting the load, restraining it properly and delivering it where you actually want it, not where it fits easiest.

Shipping containers

10ft, 20ft and 40ft containers moved between yards, sites and properties. We work out access and set-down before the truck arrives, so the container ends up square and level where you want it.

Trailers & caravans

Unregistered, damaged or long-parked trailers and vans relocated. If it will not tow safely we can float it, and we can service or repair it at the same time rather than you booking that separately.

Site boxes & sheds

Site boxes, lockup boxes and small transportable structures shifted between sites as the job moves. Common for builders running several sites at once.

Plant & machinery

Mowers, bobcats, compactors and small plant moved on the right trailer for the load, chained and strapped to standard, with the paperwork done.

Farm & rural gear

Implements, feeders, tanks and equipment moved between properties around the Queanbeyan and Canberra region.

Anything unusual

Odd shapes and one-off loads are the same problem as a custom build: work out what it needs, then build the solution around it. Ask us — if we cannot do it, we will tell you who can.

Not sure whether yours fits? Ask anyway — and we'll tell you straight.

Why us

The people who build them are the people who move them

  • We build and repair towable equipment every day, so we know what a load will and will not take before it goes on a truck.
  • Access is checked first. Most relocation problems are a gate, a gradient or a power line, and all three are cheaper to find out about beforehand.
  • Loads are restrained to standard, not "she'll be right" — the same standard we hand a customer a new trailer to.
  • If what we are moving needs work, it can be repaired, serviced or inspected while it is with us instead of being carted twice.
  • Local. We are at 36 Stephens Road, Queanbeyan, and most of what we move never leaves the region.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises

01

Tell us what and where

What the item is, roughly how big and heavy, where it is now and where it needs to be. Photos help more than measurements.

02

We check access

Both ends. Gate widths, surface, overhead lines, and whether anything needs to be lifted rather than towed.

03

You get a price

A quote for the movement, in writing, before anything happens. If a second trip or a lift is likely, we say so up front.

04

We move it

Loaded, restrained, delivered and set down where you asked. We let you know when it is on the way and when it lands.

Need something moved?

Tell us what it is and where it has to go. We will come back to you with a price and a realistic date.
