Trailers for Braidwood and the Kings Highway

Gravel roads, steep country and the coast at the bottom of the hill. Braidwood owners need trailers built for rough ground, and we build them 65 minutes up the Kings Highway in Queanbeyan.

75 km and 65 minutes by road from Braidwood via the Kings Highway. Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm.

Built in Queanbeyan since 1984

What Braidwood owners come to us for

Braidwood, Araluen, Majors Creek, Mongarlowe and Nerriga are hard on trailers: long gravel roads, the Clyde descent to the coast and winter mud. The builds that go out that way are mostly off-road box trailers and campers with real ground clearance, galvanised trailers that cope with being left out, and stock crates and site boxes for the properties.

We are 75 km back up the Kings Highway at Queanbeyan, so a service or a NSW registration safety inspection pairs with a town trip. Repairs are for any trailer, not just ours, and we keep a large range of parts.

Also covering Araluen, Majors Creek, Mongarlowe, Nerriga, Bombay, Krawarree and Captains Flat.

Servicing, repairs, parts and rego for Braidwood

Whoever built your trailer, the workshop looks after it. Trailer servicing covers bearings, brakes, lights, tyres and couplings; trailer repairs fix what has broken or rusted; and the parts counter carries a large range of spares and can source the rest.

We are a licensed provider of NSW and ACT registration safety inspections, so the inspection can be done on the same visit. We also re-gas gas struts and run arelocation service for trailers, shipping containers, site boxes and plant.

Questions from Braidwood

How far is Braidwood from the workshop?

About 75 km and 65 minutes along the Kings Highway to 36 Stephens Road, Queanbeyan.

What makes an off-road trailer different?

Ground clearance, heavier suspension and a chassis built for corrugations. We build them to order, so the size and fit-out suit what you tow and where.

Can I get a rego inspection on the same trip?

Yes. We are a licensed provider of NSW and ACT registration safety inspections at the workshop.
